Depression & Anxiety

Depression and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable mental health challenges  we can experience at some point in our lives. Depression and anxiety are often brought on by difficult life experiences that have narrowed the way we see our life. Our approach utilizes evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), tailored to the unique needs of each client. Through a collaborative and empathetic therapeutic relationship, we aim to assist clients in identifying and challenging negative thinking patterns, managing distressing emotions, and developing effective coping strategies. Together, we will explore the root causes of your depression and anxiety, while also focusing on building resilience, increasing self-care, and fostering a greater sense of overall well-being. 

 

ADHD

We are focused on providing individuals with practical strategies and tools to manage symptoms and improve daily functioning. One common counseling technique used for ADHD is cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT helps individuals recognize and modify negative thinking patterns, develop time management and organizational skills, improve problem-solving abilities, and enhance self-regulation. We also aim to educate individuals about ADHD, its symptoms, and its unique impact on your daily life. By understanding the condition, individuals can better identify their strengths, weaknesses, and specific challenges associated with ADHD. We are specialized in working with women how have received a late diagnosis or possibly seeking diagnosis.

Trauma & PTSD

We provide c specialized counseling services specifically tailored to trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Our approach to trauma counseling is rooted in evidence-based practices and an understanding of the impact trauma can have on individuals' lives. We utilize a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment in the therapeutic relationship. Through a combination of techniques such as EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), inner child work, and mindfulness-based interventions, we work collaboratively with clients to process and heal from traumatic experiences. Our goal is to facilitate the reduction of distressing symptoms associated with PTSD, develop effective coping skills, and foster resilience and growth. We provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their trauma, address its effects on their thoughts and emotions, and work towards reclaiming their lives and well-being. 

 

Navigating Narcissistic Abuse

Navigating narcissistic abuse is complicated, and we are equipped to help you even if you might not be ready to end your relationship. Our technique requires a combination of psycho-education, self-care, support, and protective strategies. We will teach you how to establish boundaries and disengage from the narcissistic individual when tensions rise. Self-care practices such as therapy, meditation, exercise, and journaling can help rebuild self-esteem and heal from the emotional trauma.  We will help you practice self-compassion, forgiveness, and focus on healing to rebuild a healthier sense of self and empower individuals to move forward from the effects of narcissistic abuse.

Currently, we  only offer online sessions which are held from the safety of your own home. You will access your online session through our secure and convienient online portal. We currently accept insurance and cash pay sessions.
